Hi, I’m Vicki and I have been obsessed with handbags since I was a little girl. I have my mom to thank for that. She always bought a cute little purse to match my special outfits. I loved them and felt so grown up with my little purse. The obsession grew in my teenage years and a new handbag was always on my birthday and Christmas wish lists. I purchased my first luxury handbag when I was in college and I still have it in my collection to this day. It was a Gucci shoulder bag in the classic navy canvas print with the matching wallet – and can you believe that wallet didn’t even have credit card slots? Yep, I’m that many years old! My taste has changed a lot over the years but never my love and admiration of a beautiful handbag because to me, it’s still all about the bag!
We believe in the power of connection and belonging to a group of people who share a common interest where you can build long lasting friendships.
We believe in supporting, encouraging and helping our members as they start, grow or curate their luxury handbag collections.
Now, we aren’t sure that there is such a thing as Purse Peace but we can perfect our collections to suit us for the time and space that we are in currently.

A. Coming Soon! We are working hard to build our Waiting List and polish our membership community that will be hosted on Mighty Networks.
A. The Handbag Hangout Community is hosted on Mighty Networks. You will need to create an account with Mighty Networks to gain access to our community. Mighty Networks does have an app that you can download on your phone so that you can access your community multiple ways. It’s all of the typical social media functions that you are used to but in a private community with member only access.
A. Absolutley but we hope that you don’t want to cancel! We do ask that you let us know 10 days prior to your billing date. Please refer to our Refund Policy as we do not pro-rate membership dues whether that be annual or monthly payments.
A. Membership in The Handbag Hangout Community is by application only, agreement to our community standards and payment required with application. Each application is reviewed and verified prior to approval. The Handbag Hangout Membership Application also spells out that any member that makes inappropriate comments either on the group platform or through direct messages will be immediately removed from the community and no refund will be issued. They will be blocked and banned from membership.
A. As we build this new community we are not allowing posts of bags for sale. We will have designated Lives for Show and Tell/Show and Sell where members can show details of a bag from their personal collection that they are offering for sale.
We do plan to add an additional membership level that will allow postings of bags for sale, in search of listings and other buying/selling features.
Our goal is to keep the buying/selling posts completely separate from the group activity as our group activity is to encourage connection among members.
A. Absolutely! We will have a fun, Ambassador program for current members of The Handbag Hangout Community.
